A project begins only after both sides agree to a written scope and proposal. This page is general information for website visitors and does not itself create a client contract or guarantee that a project will be accepted.
1. Project agreement and scope
Before work starts, the client and CSKA Digital Studio should agree in writing on the deliverables, pages, features, platform, schedule, client responsibilities, review rounds, fee, payment timing, and any exclusions. The accepted proposal or separate signed agreement controls the specific project. If it conflicts with this general page, the project agreement takes precedence.
2. Fees and payment
Website design and build services are quoted as a project fee based on the agreed scope. The proposal will state the amount, currency, payment schedule, and any applicable taxes. No deposit, milestone payment, or recurring fee is due unless included in the accepted proposal. Third-party costs—such as hosting, domain registration, fonts, plugins, stock assets, or platform subscriptions—are separate unless the agreement clearly says otherwise.
3. Client materials and cooperation
The client is responsible for providing accurate business information, approvals, and any content or materials assigned to them in the proposal. The client must have permission to use supplied text, photographs, logos, fonts, and other materials. Delays in content, feedback, or approvals may affect delivery dates; the parties should agree how a changed schedule will be handled.
4. Design review and changes
The proposal should state the included review rounds and how feedback is provided. Work outside the agreed scope, additional pages or features, or further revisions may require a revised estimate and written approval before that work begins. We will not treat a material scope increase as included without agreement.
5. Review, approval, and launch
The client should review the website and notify the studio of issues against the agreed scope before launch or handover. Launch timing depends on the client’s approvals, required content, domain access, and third-party services. The client remains responsible for checking business details, prices, legal notices, product claims, and other supplied content before publication.
6. Intellectual property and permissions
Ownership or usage rights for custom work, source files, and final deliverables should be stated in the accepted proposal. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, transfer or licence of final custom deliverables is conditional on full payment of the corresponding project fees. The client retains rights to materials they supplied. Third-party fonts, software, stock assets, plugins, and platform components remain subject to their own licences and terms.
CSKA Digital Studio may show completed work in its portfolio only where permitted by the project agreement and subject to any confidentiality commitment.
7. Third-party services and ongoing costs
A website may rely on hosting, domain registrars, commerce platforms, email systems, or other third-party services. Those providers are not controlled by the studio and may have separate terms, availability, and charges. The proposal should identify who owns and pays for relevant accounts and what is included in handover. Ongoing maintenance or updates are not included unless expressly agreed.
8. Changes, pause, or cancellation
If either side needs to change, pause, or end a project, the parties should refer to the cancellation and payment terms in the accepted project agreement. Any amount due for completed work, commitments already made, refunds, and delivery of work in progress should be handled as set out there and applicable law. No additional cancellation fee is created by this general page.
9. Warranties, liability, and legal rights
The project agreement should describe any applicable support period, warranty, and limitations. Nothing on this page excludes a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Specific liability terms, governing law, and dispute arrangements should be agreed in the project contract and reviewed for the applicable jurisdiction.
10. Contact and updates
For questions about a potential project, email hello@cskadigital.studio. We may update these general terms when our services change; the terms applying to an accepted project are the ones agreed in its project documents.
This general summary is not legal advice and does not replace a project contract.
